Max-Equity Leasing provides a lease option to the customer that provides ownership benefits while keeping payments reasonable and providing essential services not available on purchase.
Leases are structured to pay down the residual value to the lowest point possible leaving as much equity in the vehicle as possible at the end of term. For example: a team sleeper lease has a residual value of just 45% of the original truck cost at the end of the 2-year term. By structuring the lease this way, your truck is likely to be in a positive equity position at the end of the term.
All REL Max-Equity Lease trucks are evaluated by an independent third party for fair market value twice a year. These updated values are shared with the lease holders and can be used to help with end of lease decisions to purchase or refinance for a second term.
All REL Max-Equity Lease come with a subscription to REL Solutions who will oversee the truck from a maintenance perspective. As this is a Lease-To-Own model, the lease holder is responsible for maintaining their truck. REL Solutions uses the negotiation power of the entire REL fleet to obtain the best pricing for repairs and to ensure the work is performed by the most reputable shops in the country. However, unlike a full-service lease, you only pay for work you need performed rather than a cost per mile approach.
