I was somewhat lost in the myriad of options I was pursuing to either purchase or lease tractors for my new TSP Linehaul business. I was running into brick walls wherever I went and was resigning myself to trying to acquire reasonably good used tractors to get going. That was not my preference. I was also working with an REL competitor that eventually pulled through with a few tractors on lease but gave me a real-world opportunity for a side-by-side comparison between them and REL. There is literally no comparison. More than just trucks
REL brings many solutions to the table but their greatest offering is their commitment to their customers. As a FedEx TSP it can be difficult to get the attention of dealers and leasing providers that prioritize fleets with 100s of trucks. The management at REL genuinely care about their customers and it shows. When issues arise they are always available to work out a solution.
Amazing fast growth with quality trucks!
We are growing and are able to make decisions about expanding in different markets with REL. They take the guess work out of the equation when looking for FedEx ground trucks and the safety requirements. The process of leasing is quick and sometimes be done in less than a week. Our business almost tripled in revenue as were able to add REL leases to the fleet swiftly.

Kudos to Doug!!!
I’m not sure who Doug’s boss is there at REL, but someone needs to know how great Doug has been to work with. From many months ago, when I knew less than nothing, Doug has been a constant support to us and helped us to navigate to a place where we have tractors and drivers coming out of our ears.
It’s been a tough slog, with many anxious moments, and Doug has been there for us at every step along the way. He’s been a wealth of knowledge and always willing to go the extra mile for us.
Last night, Doug went the extra mile for us and volunteered to pick our drivers up at the airport and drive them to the dealership at midnight in order to get there before they closed. We tried to have the drivers uber/lyft over there, but Doug was worried they wouldn’t make it in time.
Doug picked them up and drove them to the dealership and they got there with 1 minute to spare. That enabled them to start driving back right away, since they got stuck in the DFW airport all day.
There have been many examples where Doug has been super quick to respond and do things I consider above and beyond what we should expect.
Both Doug and REL once again impress me and make it a pleasant surprise compared to so many other vendors I must deal with in this industry.
